We've had an awesome start to the year. Lots of gigs, new songs and new ideas. Most recently, this past weekend's VetJam was a great time for an even greater cause. Thank you to everyone involved. But when we had a little equipment problem heading home from the show, it reminded us of a few hilarious things that have happened over the years. Here is what happened this time. Well, perhaps it was mostly my fault. I guess I left the tailgate to our truck open, so several of our things started to bounce off the back of the truck within seconds of us leaving the parking lot after the gig. Fortunately, kind employees at Napoli's Pizza in Bradford noticed this, and quickly went and grabbed everything before making a Facebook post about the missing items. Our Anthony noticed the post and within an hour we were picking up our gear at Napoli's. Their post even made it to the Bills Mafia page and had well over 300 shares within hours. I guess we got a bit of accidental promotion out of it, aside from a few people making comments that we must be idiots. One person said to light the table on fire. But I didn't mess up too badly after all... Not to mention I'd forgotten Al's pedalboard earlier in the day. But I never forget anything, right? At least we played Livin' la Vida Loca. That mishap didn't compare to a few others we've had. Another that comes to mind was our trip to Harrisburg, Pa a few years back. Anthony, Ryan, Greg and I ran into a wild pack of strippers at Sheetz after our gig. But that's a story for next time. Stay tuned. Introducing Marty's other half: Martha! Photos from this year's VetJam. It was great to have the new dad, Jason, join us on bass again!
